The 5 Best Eurocamp France Holidays For Families (2026 Picks!)
Whenever we travel to France, we visit another Eurocamp France site. Not only is France a wonderful, affordable, and convenient destination for family holidays, it’s also one of the most popular destinations for Eurocamp holidays. And it’s easy to see why!
We love spending time in France. The beaches are beautiful, the architecture and history are fascinating, the food is delicious. Both boys are learning French at school, so they love the chance to practice their language skills. And as an added bonus Eurocamp sites in France offer family-friendly sites packed full of playgrounds, splash parks, and water parks with epic slides.

But with 242 different Eurocamp sites in France to choose from, how do you know which is best? We’ve visited over a dozen different Eurocamp sites in France so far, so here’s our pick of the 5 best Eurocamp France holidays:

Eurocamp Les Sables D’Or: The Best Waterpark and Beautiful Beaches
Our boys are real water babies, and the best Eurocamp waterpark we’ve ever experienced is at the Eurocamp Les Sables D’or: Think a huge wave pool, long lazy river they didn’t ever want to get out of, and dozens of water slides, all with a pirate theme. Check prices, availability, and book here.

This is an amazing theme park for older kids because it has so much to do including amazing playgounds and evening entertainment (read our full review here: Eurocamp Sables D’Or: A Complete Review of the BEST Eurocamp in France For Older Kids) but actually the location deserves some attention too.
The site is right on the beach, with direct beach access. And Vendee is on of the moost loved holiday regions in France with local people thanks to its long sandy beaches and gentle waves. There were lots of cute seaside towns nearby, including Sete, which is considered the Venice of France. One Day in Sète: A Family-Friendly Guide To This Pretty French Town

I always recommend visiting Eurocamp at the end of August instead of the beginning if you want to save money, because the prices tend to be much cheaper. From August 26th a 7 night stay for a family of four would cost £960 at time of writing.

Eurocamp Le Domaine du Clarys: A Great Location And Epic Surfing
When we started talking about booking our Eurocamp holiday for this summer, my boy’s first question was if we could go back to Eurocamp’s Clarys Page. This is a relaxed and family-focused site that also has a great water park (which was actually renovated and new for last summer) and is a very short walk to the beach.

This site is slightly smaller than some of the other enormous resort sites, but it’s still a large site with tonnes of facilities. And as an added bonus, the site backs onto a huge supermarket and is right in the middle of a small town so you don’t need to drive if you don’t want to: walk out of your door and you’ll immediately hit shops, restaurants, and a very smaller kiddy fairground. There is a much larger evening fairground open during the summer months for teens and older kids around a 15 minute walk away.
What my kids really loved about this site? The closest beach had brilliant surf! In fact this whole coastline is well known for the quality of its surf. We’d thrown their surf boards on the roof of the car for the drive down, so they were able to surf every single day and it was probably one of the best, most laid back, holidays we’ve ever had! Read our full Review: Eurocamp Le Domaine du Clarys, Le Clarys Plage

This whole place feels purpose built for families, and offers that classic French summer vibe without being overwhelming.
Prices for this site vary wildly from £229 for a week in April to £1,600 for a week in August. So you can pick the time of the year that best suits your needs and your budget.

Eurocamp La Croix du Vieux Pont: Close to Disneyland Paris
I think Eurocamp La Crois du Vieux Pont is probably the most popular, and the most well-known, Eurocamp site in France. Why? Because it’s less than an hour drive away from Disneyland Paris (or the site put on a weekly coach tour if you don’t want to drive) make this one of the cheapest ways to take your kids to Disney AND have a classic Eurocamp summer holiday at the same time.

If we stay on the site itself, you definitely won’t be disappointed. La Croix du Vieux Pont is known for its massive aquatic complex with indoor and outdoor pools, a tropical river, and loads of different slides and splash zones. This means it will appeal to both kids and teens. When we visited our boys were toddlers, but I’m keen to go back and explore this site with older kids: I think it would be a great fit!
If you’re not a water baby family, there’s loads of activities on dry land here too. Think archery, trampolines, bowling and sports fields. But I really think that if you’re visiting this Eurocamp Holiday site you should use it as an excuse to take a day trip to Disneyland Paris! It’s an epic attraction, and one of those bucket list spots for kids of all ages (including my 13 year old!)
💡 This is Eurocamp’s most popular site in France: If you don’t book ahead, you’ll be disappointed.

Eurocamp Domaine des Ormes: Adventure and Ease
If the idea of a long drive across France is offputting, then why not consider a Northen France Eurocamp site instead? One of the most popular of these is Eurocamp Domaine des Ormes, and because the weather is less guarenteed here outside of the main summer season, it’s packed to the rim with things to do!
The focal point is a huge covered water dome with slides and splash areas, but there’s also a golf course, treetop adventure course, horse riding and lakeside activities. If you’re kids (like mine!) like to be active and you don’t want to hear ‘i’m bored’ then this is such a great pick.

It’s also a great pick if you want to get off the site and explore, because Brittany is famed for being a beautiful region with loads to see and do. Head to the coast, or spend the day wandering around ancient towns and cities.
This is a great site to visit out of season and on a budget because you’re less reliant on good weather: A week here in May half term will cost £673.
💡 This is the best all-weather camp to choose if you want an off-season break

Eurocamp Le Soleil de la Mediterranee: Wonderful Watery Fun
If you don’t mind driving all the way down to the south of France (we love a road trip!) and you’re looking for warmer weather and a classic Mediterranean feel, then the best choice out there right now is Le Soleil de la Mediterranee. As the name suggests, this site is located on France’s southern Mediterranean coast.

It has direct beach access and a huge pool complex with water slides: this is a classic holiday resort where a blend of beach and pool days are the order of the day! You can relax and sunbathe, but the kids will be kept busy, meaning it works well for everyone. And if you want to get out and explore, you’re in the Catalan region, with tonnes of towns and cultural attractions nearby.
💡 This is a great choice if you want guarenteed sunshine
