When to Visit Disneyland Paris and Seasonal Guides
📆 When is the best time to visit Disneyland Paris?
We have visited Disneyland Paris in every season (In fact, in every month of the year!) and each has it’s own unique charms. The right time to visit Disneyland Paris for your family will depend on what you’re looking for!
Tickets are cheaper if you visit outside of weekends and school holidays: crowd levels are lower too! Officially the cheapest time to visit the park is in January and February. But this is also the coldest time to visit the park!
Happy to spend a little more about travel in peak season? Then the special events and parades (hosted in the summer, Christmas, and Halloween) are magical, and worth experiencing if you don’t mind crowds and queues.
I’ve written in-depth guides to visiting Disneyland Paris at different times of the year that you can check out below:

Where To Stay And What To Do
Something not a lot of people know about Disneyland Paris is that you don’t have to have a park ticket to enter the magic! Entry to the Disney Village (which sits at the entrance to the park) is completely free. Here you’ll find dozens of souvenir shops with exclusive merchandise, themed restaurants, and a huge cinema too. This area is undergoing a huge refurbishment right now.
For incredible views of the park you can ride a unique hot air baloon in the Disney Village too: a great activity for your arrival or departure day when you don’t have park tickets. Read our review here: Riding The Panoramagique Hot Air Balloon In Disneyland Paris
If you stay off site you’ll find that many of the local hotels have swimming pools, water parks, playgrounds, and even soft play areas for you to enjoy. We love staying off-site to save money AND because these hotels offer so many great activities for kids. I’m creating a series of reviews about the Disneyland Paris hotels and Disneyland Paris partner hotels that you can check out below:
