World of Frozen is opening in Disneyland Paris on 29th March 2026. This new and immersive land will be opening in the Walt Disney Studios Park, which is being renamed Disney Adventure World as soon as they new World of Frozen Disneyland Paris attraction area opens.

This new expansion will turn what has been a pretty small ‘second park’ and add on to the Disneyland Park into an attraction and destination in it’s own right. And one we can’t wait to visit!

We can’t wait to see what the European twist on this huge Disney franchise looks like. But what does World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris look like? Key Features of World of Frozen in Disneyland Paris

The World at Frozen in Disneyland Paris is set to be much bigger than even I expected! And it’s just the first stage in what is set to be a huge expansion in the Disney Adventure World, where there are also  future plans for a Lion King-themed area.

Frozen Ever After ride at Disneyland Paris

Here’s a full list of the key features and attractions you can expect to find in the World of Frozen in Disneyland Paris:

  • Frozen Ever After:  This is a musical boat ride taking guests through the North Mountain to Elsa’s Ice Palace. It looks very similar to the Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey ride that is already open in Tokyo DisneySea.
  • Immersive Theming: This section of the park will boast a full-scale recreation of Arendelle featuring 14 new dining and shopping locations, which will do a lot of the hard work of dispersing the crowds in this insanely popular area
  • New Character Encounters: Meet Anna and Elsa at the Royal Encounter in Arendelle Castle, and see a roaming Olaf animatronic. This new Olaf character was created by Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development in close collaboration with Disney Live Entertainment and Walt Disney Animation Studios. I’ve seen previews of the animatronic and it’s so authentic and well done: completely unique to this area of the park!
  • A Themed Show: There will be a brand new show in the Disney Studios park.”A Celebration in Arendelle” featuring Olaf, Anna, and Elsa will be held on the bay each day, and is a great way to fans that don’t want to stand in line to see their favourite characters.
  • Raiponce Tangled Spin: Although not Frozen themed, this Tangled-themed tea cup style spinning ride will also be opening on the same day in the new Disney Adventure World Park.
  • Adventure Bay & Nighttime Spectacular: The newly branded Disney Adventure will have Adventure Bay as its centrepiece. This is a central lake and it will host a new nighttime show with drones, fountains, and fireworks called “Disney Cascade of Light”.

World of Frozen Disneyland Paris Tickets

The good news is that you won’t need an extra ticket to visit the World of Frozen in Disneyland Paris: there won’t be any gate keeping or any extra charge. To enter the newly renamed Disney Adventure World, you will either need a standard park entry ticket, or a park hopper ticket if you also want to visit the Disneyland park.

This is exactly the same as it’s always been: 1 ticket for each park, or a hopper ticket to visit both.

HOWEVER the excitement around the World of Frozen and the Disney Adventure World expansion has reached an absolute fever pitch. As a result, tickets and hotel packages for 2026 are expected to be in high demand and if you don’t book early, you might find yourself disappointed.

If you’re not booking a ticket and hotel package with Disney directly and you want to save a little money by booking everything separately, I always recommend booking your tickets with Klook. They are affordable, easy to use, and delivered straight to your phone. Klook also always have great ticket availability for in-demand attractions like Disneyland Paris.

What Are The Height Requirements For The New Frozen Ever After Ride?

Good news for the smallest and youngest Frozen fans! There won’t be any height requirements to ride the new Frozen Ever After ride in Disneyland Paris. The ride is also completely accessible for those travelling with disabilities.

However there is one requirement to take note of: if you’re pregnant, then you can’t ride!

What Will The Queues Be Like For The Frozen Ever After Ride?

Honestly, this is a such a ‘how long is a piece of string’ question as it’s impossible to predict trends for a ride that isn’t open yet. What I can tell you is that, even a year after it opened, the stand by queue for the Frozen ride in Tokyo Disney Sea was 3-4 hours long when we visited in April.

If you have the money to spend (or you value your time more than your wallet) then Frozen Ever After will be available for Disney Premier Access. You can buy this on the day of your visit via the Disneyland Paris Mobile app at the price of 16 euros-19 euros (depending on the date of your visit). This is the price per person. It’s a lot, but we did this in Tokyo to get on the ride without the queue, and it was worth every penny to have more time to explore the park.

You can also buy a Disney Premier Access Ultimate ticket if you’re buying a Disney package, and this will cost between £98 and £204 per person, depending on the date of your visit.

Looking for a loophole without paying for it? There will also be a single riders line for this ride, and these tend to move faster than the standard stand by lines too.

When is World of Frozen Opening at Disneyland Paris?

The World of Frozen will be opening on 29th March 2026, just in time for the school Easter holidays in both France and the UK. As a result, you can expect the park to be very very busy!

What Other Attractions Are in Disney Adventure World?

When Walt Disney Studios is rebranded as Disney Adventure World on 29th March 2026, this will mark a whole new era for Disneyland Paris. And the new park has left plenty of room for expansion!

On the day of opening in the park you will find:

  • World of Frozen
  • Marvel Studios
  • World of Pixar (encompassing the existing Toy Story and Ratatouie areas)
  • Adventure Way (the gateway to these new worlds)

In the future plans are already in process to add a Lion King themed area to the park, and rumours are rife about a Star Wars area too – something my boys would be so excited about!

Will There Be Exclusive World of Frozen Merchandise?

Would it be a new Disney announcement if there wasn’t? There will be several Frozen-themed shops in the world of Frozen area, including the Arendelle Boutique which will be the largest of the new retail outlets. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the new merchandise on offer:
